Film Studies will provide students with an analysis of cinematography, editing, composition, performance, sound, and narrative. Films are drawn from various national cinemas, representing diverse styles, periods and genres. The course will provide students with the opportunity to learn elements involved in film production, to develop an understanding of how films produce meaning, and to examine how they have historically been interpreted.
