Description

This course introduces the history of Science from antiquity to the present and demonstrates how the various areas of science work together to develop the technology and the materials we are familiar with in our daily lives. Topics include role of measurement and experiments and revolutions of modern science (advances inchemistry, biology, astronomy and technology).Students will conductinquiry-based projects focusing on areas of interest.The goal of this course is to help students develop thepractices of science such as asking researchable questions, planning and carrying out investigations, analyzing dataandotherrelated skills that will enhance their quality of life and professional success.
