Overview

The Human Rights minor consists of 6 courses. Housed within the Justice Studies department, this minor complements any major field of study. Drawing from diverse disciplines including criminal justice, history, philosophy, sociology, and psychology, the program challenges students to examine critical contemporary issues in human rights. Students develop a comprehensive understanding of human rights advocacy, conflict resolution, and social justice through both theoretical frameworks and practical applications. This dynamic program prepares graduates to engage thoughtfully in fundamental challenges facing our global society and to become ethical leaders in their chosen fields.
